Our Story

A family deeply connected to the land

Manicardi is a family that has always been tied to its land and traditions. In 1980, Enzo Manicardi decided to purchase vineyards with ideal exposure to create a rosé wine for his wife Veva.

Castelvetro di Modena

Among the hills and vineyards of the territory

Since then, on the hills of Castelvetro di Modena, Lambrusco Grasparossa, Pignoletto and Trebbiano Modenese have been cultivated—grapes that tell the authentic identity of this landscape and preserve its truest character.

A family legacy

From home barrels to a business story

In Emilia-Romagna, families have always kept small barrels of balsamic vinegar at home, considered a precious family heirloom. Enzo Manicardi chose to bring this tradition to the house built among the vineyards, transforming it over time into a true business.

Today, the grapes grown on the hills of Castelvetro give life to territorial wines and fine balsamic vinegars, in the spirit of continuity, quality and deep connection to our origins.

The Present

A message of continuity and love for our origins

The company is led by Maria Livia Manicardi.

I am very proud to be able to convey, together with my family, a message of continuity and above all love for our origins.
